Q: Who is eligible for eAuction ?
A: In order to participate in an auction, you would
· Need to be registered member of the auction so that we can send you user name and password .
· You will need to log into our specified portal to participate in the auction .
· Every auction will have its own supplier qualification criteria .
Q: How can an eAuction benefit if I have negotiated good price ?
A: Usually the reverse Auction is conducted with starting price as the least quoted price derived from qualified vendors under RFQ process. This helps in getting the best price from the vendors. Even a single digit of percentage of savings over the best quote will be of great value when the buying volumes are high .

Q: Q: Can I sell my scrap or old equipments via Online Auction ?
A: Yes, this type of auction is called forward auction, wherein you need to create a market with the product, invite the buyers/bidders to the market, set the reserve price and launch the event for auction .
Q: How will I come to know of upcoming auctions ?
A: As a short listed supplier for the auction you will receive mail notifications about upcoming auctions well in advance .

Q:How to make a bidder to offer competitive / aggressive rates in a running auction event ?
A: Usually a bidder offers aggressive commercials when some other bidder in the event outbids him / her and hence creates a healthy competition. This can be achieved either by displaying the bidder his bidding status, rank or by displaying the lowest running price in the live auction event .
Q: What if a vendor doesn't bid via the auction ?
A: If a vendor chooses not to bid, you may award the business to the best overall bidder off line or choose to award it to a non-bidding vendor. Your company is under no obligation to award business only to an auction bidder .

Q: Will an auction risk the good relationship that I have with my vendor ?
A: Not necessarily. Auction is an added facility to attract best price from the market with fair business practices. As vendors will see more transparency in purchase process they will cooperate with you and in process will gain more only .
Q: What if I'm already in a contract ?
A: Even if you are already in a contract with some vendor there are ways of renegotiating contracts, at the same time honoring all of your obligations .
